At 1pm on Tuesday, April 1, 2008, a flashmob froze and stood stock still for five minutes in the Queen Street Mall, Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. This was part of World Freeze Day 2008.

Comment by David Jackmanson on April 3, 2008 at 11:37am - @Calvin, yep, they were real guinea pigs. @Andymus Maximus, the one thing I really regret was not getting the guys who had frozen while playing Twister (they were down towards Adelaide St, near-ish to the 3 girls pointing at each other in a Mexican Freeze-Off)
